i got an air fuel meter from a friend and want to hook it up the meter has a red, black and purple wires so how and were do i hook it up

you need to install the purple wire to the purple wire that comes from the O2 sensor and then ground the black and the red to a 12 volt source -

a lot of members tap into the wires at the pcm. That is what I tried to do but couldn't figure out how to get the wire through the firewall and I am really bad a tapping into power sources (i.e. have no idea how to tap into fusebox)
