i'm contemplating the dealership... basically there behind the crank pulley something is messed up because just under it my car starts leaking coolant i'm fairly sure it's not oily, it does it all the time (not just after WOT)... and i have no idea what the problem could be... HELP

I really have no clue what you're talking about saying "oily", but, if it's leaking fluid from behing the crankshaft pully, then I would say it's your water pump.

to check if its coolant for sure, put a piece of white cardboard under your car when it leaks, check the color. if you have dex-coolant it will be redish, of regular coolant kinda a greenish tint obviously. but otherwise, yes i agree with the water pump, prob leaking seal, common problem because its a big seal.
Just because you put a K&N sticker on your Honda doesn\'t make it an 8 second car.

I had a similar problem on my 3.4l. the problem was with my timing chain cover mainly, but we replaced the water pump too.

In all I replaced the timing chain and gear thing(they needed it anyway), the water pump, and resealed the timing chain cover. If this is your problem, make sure the timing chain cover isnt warped, cause if it is you'll be fixing it all over again....(my personal experience in this situation...)

computer does timing on the 3.8l, no chain but do i need a whole new water pump cuz those things are pretty expensive. it did this for a while then stopped, and now it's at it again but loss of coolant is a lot more. well by not oily i meant it didnt have any oil in it.. and i guess i'll do a search for water pump install... thanks!

eh, dude, thats way too much money. If your water pump is leaking, just get it and a pump gasket from AutoZone for like ....50ish and replace it yourself
