Yo're rev limiter (if stock) should stop you around 5800rpm in drive so I wouldn't worry about that. The shop will charge you alot more than you pay for the cam, that's all I know.

Your park rev limiter has nothing to do with your cam

actually it does, it restricts me from revving past 4000.

the shop will probably charge 8 hours at whatever their labor rate is, plus fluids, gaskets, timing chain, tensioner, lifters, springs, etc. you might be looking at $1000 or more once all that is added in.

the cam CAN work with stock valvetrain components but it's not the greatest idea ever.

            your
            park
            rev
            limiter
            has
            NOTHING
            to
            do
            with
            drive
            rev
            limiter
            .

Yep, I did some random calling around and got qoutes of $900-1200 to put mine in before I paid my mechanic $500 to do it. Why in th F*CK are you reving your car in park!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LIKE EVERYONE ELSE SAID IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CAM.

BTW: You buying a cam now would be pointless, do the supporting mods first.
