I run Castrol 20w-50. What should I run if where I live is warm all the time and I have a heavy foot.

I personally think 20-50 is way too heavy. If I used it, I would put two quarts of 20-50 three quarts of 10-40 (same brand oil).

Here in the philly summer, I run 10-40, and winter I use 10-30.

Don't start running synthetic oil if you have over about 80,000 miles. Just use a high-milage oil (like Valvoline Max Life). IMO, the best oil you can get is Red Line, Mobil 1, or Valvoline Max Life.

Because the high milage would be better for your high milage car than sythetic.

From what I understand (this may not be completely accurate), synthetic oil used in high milage vehicles has a tendency to leak, and also to break off deposits (carbon I think?) within the cylinders. I believe the problems are mostly because synthetic oil is more viscous than regular oil, and it also bonds to engine parts. However, I've also heard that if you use sea foam or something similar to clean out the cylinders than you can start using synthetic oil.

                    I use 10w-30 blend

I had been using regular oil but this last time when i did my oil change i seafoamed it before putting in the new oil.

                    Runs well.

i seafoamed the engine about 500 miles ago. so should i be ok to run mobil 1, or should i use a blend ?

i run 10W-30 synthetic, and my car has 67,000 miles on it.

                            One main rule for synthetic:
Once you switch, dont ever go back to regular oil.

and as for that high mileage thing, i never heard that in my life. My s-10 had 156,000 miles on it, and i ran synthetic from the day i bought it (at 136,000 miles) and never had a problem with it at all.

and if you never used synthetic oil before, and you are switching now, get ready for the power increase, because you will feel it for sure.

is there actually a feelable difference in performance from mobil 1 and regular dino oils.?
