My seatbelt light is possessed!

You know, the light in the gauge cluster that turns on/off when you put on/off your seatbelt?

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. Most of the time it doesnt, but once in a while, it'll come on when i turn the key... then after I put my seatbelt on it'll turn off (like its supposed to). But then when I remove my seatbelt (it's supposed to come on), it doesnt come on again. Then maybe a few days later when I start my car, it'll turn on again... weird.

I kinda miss it in a way :D

its definitely not the bulb in the gauge cluster... what could it be?

could be the contacts. You could spray some contact cleaner in the latch and see if that helps

Where can I get contact cleaner?

Will it hurt anything in there if I spray the stuff? (Im assuming its in liquid form once sprayed)

You can get it at home depot. It's made by CRC and it comes in an aerosal can with a purple label on it. It's made especially for electrical contacts. Try not to get it everywhere on plastic and stuff. I don't think it will hurt but just to be safe. hope that helps
