I am getting a limited slip rear end with 3.42 gears. I have a m5. I have been reading and trying to figure out what to do about calibrating my speedometer. I was wondering if the jetscu2000 will work on manual transmissions? Will it work on pre 1996 cars (I was reading that it only worked on 96-present cars)? Were there any 3.4's with the y87 package that I could get the VIN off of, so I can take it to a dealership. I would really appreciate it if i could get some help.

Other than the fact that no 3.4L cars had a y87 package, I don't know too much about that.
I do know that you will not find a vin for a M-5 with 3.42s in any year becuase I am i the same boat. Your only option is the SLP unit or custom programmming.
