running this sunday

my step dad is going to take his 78 Z (350 - 700hp, 650 @ the wheels) to the track this weekend (sunday, they just started running on sundays now thats its warming up)

and I figured i'd go run with him in my v6 for ****s and giggles, what should i expect time wise to get about?

3.8L V6
Free ram air
No cat (straight pipe)
Flowmaster Exhaust
JET PCM Power Chip

a 700hp car would be making more like 595hp to the wheels, but thats just with 15% drivetrain loss...he must have a REALLY efficient drivetrain to be putting down 650hp, cause with that much at the wheels, he would only have 6% drivetrain loss!!! WOW!!!please enlighten us on some specific details of this 700fwhp, 650rwhp camaro! cause im obviously not takin the cake on this...photos would help [img]smile.gif[/img]

Well, you numbers are off then, that setup can't be 700hp at the motor and 650 at the rear tires. That is one h#ll of a gear, what are his 60's?

im going to say 15.379 with 3.42 and LSD, [img]graemlins/burnout.gif[/img] with 2.23s and open-diff....15.779 [img]graemlins/wavey.gif[/img]

brink, not to be offensive, but your are becoming a postwhore, you obviously are spoiled as crap, you have really no clue how to correctly mod a card or what order to mod in. unless your "dad" spend goobles and goobles of money into his drivetrain alone it is still extremely hard to belive the 6% drive train loss. So, unless it is something worth posting for and you have some clue on what you are talking about dont post. Before you post SEARCH SEARCH, and...SEARCH. And if you do post please list all specs of your car so we can give you a better estimate.
