Ok in late spring over here I had my camaro get a used car inspection before I bought it. one of the minor, minor things the mechanic said is that I have a very, very small crack in my oil pan. Something that'll drip like once a week. Well that was in May when it was warm out. Now it's kinda chilly and I smell a little oil from my car. (i get the oil changed every 2500 miles). Logically thinking, when the cold gets to my car, the metal will constrict, thus making the crack bigger? does that sound right? also my girlfriend the other day said while driving behind me, after my car was sitting for about 2 hours, that she swears she saw blue smoke. Could that be the reason?
Also during that same inspection, the mechanic said I had a small leak in my power steering line. As small as the oil pan one. Well, my steering wheel is significantly tougher to turn than, let's say my gf's escort zx2 or my other friend's 2002 stratus. Are your car's kinda *****y to turn? Also when I turn the wheel all the way, I get this little bit of a whine.. what is that?
Thx
