when you undo the nuts that hold down the fuel rail and pull it up..the injectors come up with the rail right??..so (on 3/12..woohoo!) the shop should easily be able to pull that up and put my NOSzle bosses in where the injectors used to go right?..thanks!

Correct. The only problem I see is that the injectors go in at an angle. With a 3/4 inch extension on the end of the injectors, the legs will not only he higher up, they will be a litle further back. I am guessing the injectors are at about a 15* angle. Doing some basic math tells me that the legs will be about .2 inches further back, or just less then a 1/4 inch. I hope this makes sence.2001 Firebird 3.8L V6 M5,
It once had....
NX Nitrous Wet Kit, ZZP X-P Hot Cam,
3.42 LSD, Pacesetter Headers,
36# Injectors, HP Tuners
322 RWHP, 379 RWTQ
13.596 @ 102.56 w/100 shot

hmmm...i've heard you can just pull straight up and the whole thing will come out though12 SECOND DUAL STAGE DRY NITROUS POWERED 98 A4 V6 CAMARO
www.MySickCamaro.50megs.com
Best ET: 12.82@103
Best MPH: 104.7
Best 60\': 1.75 - Stock TC

quote:
Originally posted by Shodown:
1DV6 runs 12\'s...enough said.

As long as you pull evenly, it should pretty much just come right up. Otherwise, just start on the front or back, and pull up the first two, then the next 2 back, and then the last 2.
You really only need it to come up about 1/2" or so to get the Oring out of the bore, so the whole rail doesn't have to move all that much. If you pull them out a pair at a time, you shouldn't have to worry about bending the rail I don't think.
When I pulled mine out, it as pretty tight in there, so if it doesn't come out right away don't think you're doing something wrong. Just take your time and it will come out fine.
REMEMBER
Take compressed air and blow out the areas around the injectors before pulling them out!1997 Cayenne Red Metallic Camaro
3.8 V6 M5
SLP Cold Air Intake
Ceramic Coated Pacesetter Headers
Flowmaster American Thunder Catback
Full 3.42 & Disc Break Rear End Swap

When i said correct, I was talking about pulling them out. They come out pretty easily.
The other thing I was talking about was about when you go to put them back in with the Nozzles. It is just something to think about.2001 Firebird 3.8L V6 M5,
It once had....
NX Nitrous Wet Kit, ZZP X-P Hot Cam,
3.42 LSD, Pacesetter Headers,
36# Injectors, HP Tuners
322 RWHP, 379 RWTQ
13.596 @ 102.56 w/100 shot

ohhh i got ya...i was looking at where the bosses would actually sit..the metal of the manifold where they will sit on is actually angled inward like the angle you were describing..you can see it here on Magnus's site:

..go to "Intake P&P" on the right side..thanks man..and very good point!
