Ok, last night I was coming back from my friends house, which is about 10min away. When i pulled into my driveway, i got out of my car and i heard boiling, sizziling and steam. I popped the hood and steam just started to pour out everywhere, radiator fluid was pouring out on the ground. It was nightime, so i couldn't tell where it was coming from, but it looked to be coming from the radiator. No hoses look to be busted. I also noticed that when i was driving the temp wouldn't go down past 180* while driving, it just stayed around there. Usually when I'm driving, it will go down around 155* Please help, what happened here?? Thanx in advance. Teele.

Now that it's probably cooled off, check your hoses again. did you look at it yet to see where the leak is coming from? could be a hole in the radiator or a busted hose. try to find where the leak is coming from.2000 Camaro 3.8 v6 M5

Well, i found out the problem. There was a hole in the top of the radiator where it looked like battery acid dripped onto the radiator and the battery slid into the radiator causing the hole. So i put on some JB weld and I am going to put on another coat tomorrow and test it out and make sure it doesn't leak.

I have always had good results with JB weld. We use it on race cars and I recall multiple situiations where we used it on radiators. I’ll have to disagree with that one. I’ve used JB on radiators many times, and it holds great. Use the “JB Stick” it is much easier to work with a form into poison.
