i have a 1997 (195 deg thermo) and went to baxters auto parts to get a 180 deg thermo. the fuy there said i shouldnt do this unless i have a chip that tells the cpu to use a cooler thermo. he said it would run rich and my air/fuel ratio would be messed up, and my gas mileage would suck. i think you want to keep the same deg therm your car comes with (for 98+ 180 degrees).Comment
