Yeah, I want AC, who cares about the tiny performance gain without this. Anyone have an install link? Or is it pretty straight forward with installing?

Straight forward ONLY if you know how an a/c system works. If your car didn't come with it originally, it's going to be a major pain to install it. I've never seen a link for this and I've been all over fbody boards/sites for 3+ years now.1995 Firebird 3.4L
My Site

Gonna cost you ~$1200 to get installed... a lot less if you DIY you'll also be adding a good 50 lbs to the car... I'm doing exactly the opposite of you... biggest pita is going to be with the heater core assembly.

first off, I was doing reseach back when I had my Cav, to put A/c in it, turns out it will cost a hell of alot more then 1200 even if you got all the parts....I did (parts car)....Its a hella lot of work, you might as well swap engines while you are at it
and to people who get rid of there A/c because it weighs about as much as your left foot, and takes away 2.5 horsepower......You msut wanna beat that kid down the road with the Civic some bad dont you, or do you jsut live in the Artic where you really dont need it, thats just stupid, no offense to the thousands who have done it, but you need your head examined

I grew up in the South, not having a/c is not even an option. :D97 Silver Bird
3.8 M5 Bone Stock Engine
15.528 @ 88.96 bone stock
www.fbodyenhancements.com/

Same here, when I was looking at camaros working AC was one of the major things I needed. Being in FL with no AC just isn't tolerable.1997 Camaro v6 3.8
Bone Stock, just a little slower then most station wagons.
**Either the slowest SS or the prettiest v6**

Heh I'm removing my system because it's broken and it costs a helluva lot to repair... and I'd only use it maybe 3-4 times a summer since I much prefer wide open windows... I'll save a good chunk of weight... which if you've ever gotten serious about weight reduction... 50 lbs here and there add up to big savings... if my car weighs 3200 lbs after this then it was worth it.
BTW I beat that 2002 Civic Si at the track already so I'm not concerned about it.Black \'97 Camaro RS See Pics 3.8L, 5 Spd, Disc Rear, Hurst short shifter, MAF Screen Removed, RK Sport Headers, 3\" Cat, 3\" FM American Thunder Catback, Compcams .512/.507, (2x)275/40/17 Khumo 712(front) (2x)285/40/17 Good Year F1 GS-D3 (back).
