  • Crank pulley & HO alt?

Will a crank pulley hurt my power(amps)? I have a HO alt and i need the most power i can get from it, based on the fact that i run a large system.

If i addthe crank pulley, how much HP can i expect to get?

    car is a 94 3.4

    edit*********

Im only going to be buying the crank pulley, does any one know the new belt size i will need for just the crank pulley?

    ASP Crank/Alt Pulley Set

~13 volts at idle when cold
~12 volts at idle when warm
~11 volts at idle when warm and system is on full blast

I have a 1 farad cap installed in the hatch, and that helped a good bit keeping my needle from dipping into the sub-10's on heavy bass notes.

If you've got the air on you can figure on .5 volts less than the above figures, and headlights draw another .5 or so. Of course, these are all only at idle... blip the throttle and you're back up to 14. So unless you do a lot of stop-n-go you should be fine.

I would go with both the alt & crank set, but i need all the power i can get from my alt.

Thats why i only want to do the crank.
