I have a question about my 2002 RS. It has the Z28 exhaust system with Z28 tips. I noticed inside the right pipe, there is a piece of metal welded inside that blocks about 90% of the exhaust. The other side doesn't have anything blocking it. What is that for? Is it suppose to be there?

Sounds like you have a dummy pipe or a silencer. I would take it to a muffler shop and open it up or put someting hotter in place of the stock muffler.
