  • Headlights... Not working

So all of the suddend both my headlights went out. Logic tells me that is't not the lights. How often do lights burn out at the same time? Does anyone know what to do? I couldn't find a fuse for the headlights. Thanks

I had both burn out within minutes of each other at the same time.

You could look at it both ways:

    A. they're the exact same bulb with the exact same life expectancy...why NOT croak at the same time?

    B. some sort of fuse malfunction

I'd bet it was the fuse.

Where is the fuse? I couldn't find it. Could it be under the hood where the relays are?

I don't know right off hand, but if you open your drivers door you'll see a fuse panel on the side of the dash. Pull of the cover and there should be a label that says what each fuse is for, or else it is listed in the manual. If it's not in that fuse panel, open the hood and check in the fuses and relays box. It has a label on the inside of the cover.

What the hell?? So I looked under the box and there was a label there and there's a fuse for each headlight. Those fuses were gone so I tried pulling the A/C fuse and put it in the headlight just to see if it worked... there is NO jacks for either headlight! I'm also missing the relay for my airpump... could it be the wrong lid maybe?

Okay, I just found out that there are no fuses for my headlights on a 96 or a relay for the air pump... I guess they just use the same labeling for every year or something. Thanks for the help though
