I will be replacing my 16" factory wheels with 17" 10 spoke SS wheels with Eagle F1 tires. The tires are low profile. Will these new wheels throw off my odometer or speedometer? If so, by how much?

The change wouldn't be noticeable, because it is so slight, but it will change.

I went from 255-60-16's to 275-40-17's, and I love them!

hmm... So since I started with 215/60/16, it will be good if when I get new tires, instead of getting the 245/50/16 that I have now, a 255/50/16 would be better...right?

P.S. I know that this may be stupid, but if I got really small tires, wouldn't it increase my top speed, since it would read that I was going slower than I really was?2000 Red Firebird Coupe, A4. ((3.42 Gears, LSD Stock))
Details: 3\" Edelbrock Exhaust, 3\" Catco Cat,160* Thermostat, 8% Tint, TA Chrome Wheels, Viper 550.
