Hey everyone, I'm new here. Just wanted to say hello and ask a quick question. I normally post on the Rk board, but I've been told to come here to ask. My situation is this: I have a 99' convert. six and I've been having numerous problems with my fuel and ignition system. So far, I've had to take it in twice since I bought the car to have new plug wires on it. I bought the car brand new and it now has 57,200 miles on it. I've never had a car go though wires like this before. After having the car only 400 miles the catalytic converter shelled out. Has anyone had any problems like this before. I'm sure someone has, but this frequent? Something doesn't seem right.

Yes, these cars do have some problems with the plug wires from the factory. I had a camaro once that was very similar. I bought a set of Taylor 8mm plug wires off thunderracing.com and I never had any problems again. Hope that helps.
