someone told me not to run a 160 on my car does anyone know why i was told this. and has anyone done this with imporvments in power and no problems?

Unless you have a very unusual 2001, the 160 thermo will give you an SES light, temperature gauge goes dead, both fans go on high, and emissions system goes closed in abot 30 minutes or so of continuious driving. This seems to be only a 2001 problem. The 160 works on the 2001.
