Ok, my battery guage on my dash is reading really high. It's almost at 3/4 on the guage when it usually rests a little above 1/4. What does that mean? Also, my car is stuttering and having problems shifting (it's automatic). When I give it gas it sounds like a lot of air is coming out of the exhaust, like popping air. Anyone have a clue what could be going on???

Hmmm sounds like your alternator, since your battery is running higher than normal.
