My first guess if your car is over 50k would be the O2 sensor. I've seen cars that wouldn't even run if these were fouled, would drive then studder until you pull over, blown the catalytic.... UNFORTUNATELY I looked under my 2000 and saw three potential O2 Sensors.. and haven;t figured out which is which. I still say its the O2, replace it at 50-60k and you got a brand new running car. wait til 100k and you may be investing more then 60 bucks into a repair.
