Service engine soon light burned out?

i took my car up to auto zone just for them to check and see if i still had some cat problems bcz my SES light was on forever and now its not. they found the same catalyst conversion code but my light isnt on. is there anyway the light could have burned out or a wire is unplugged?? id like it fixed for safety's sake!! Any help is appreciated!!!

Did you reset your PCM after the code was pulled last time? If not it's the same code, the PCM will store the code until it is reset.

Nope we reset it. The thing is... i have a catalyst conversion effeciency nelow threshhold problem (o2 sensors) that i havent gotten fixed yet. then all of the sudden the light turned off. i know the prob didnt fix itself! i wish.. those damn things are expensive. Anyway yes we reset it and the same code is still coming up. i imagine that the light bulb has burned out which is no biggie but how in the heck do i GET to it??

Does it light up when you first get in the car and turn the ignition key on?
I know when I first step into my car and turn it on, all lights on my dash turn on, then go off within a matter of seconds.
If your SES light doesn't turn on at all, maybe it needs replacement.

To get to it, you'll need to take the dashboard apart to access the rear of the gage panel. Takes about an hour, but isn't really that hard of a job.

It doesnt come on at all anymore. How do i replace it? i dont know much about these cars imma mustang gal they seem to be a lot easier to work on so bear with me! or link me to instructions on finding the bulb
