Autolite 605 Copper Core Spark Plugs.

Would those be any good? Anyone heard of em or use them? I saw them on Intense-Racing for about 1.99 a plug.

Are the NGK Copper Plugs tremendously better than any other copper plug?

i would honestly go with autolites..

my uncle builds dragsters and he puts those plugs in all the engines he's built. and he swares by them.

He also likes NGK, but would much rather have the autolites in them.

right now his drag car is a farelane 500, runn'n 9's all day. and it has autolites

Just ordered a set of them. I guess I will tell everyone how they are after the install.

I'm planning to use them also. They carry them at Walmart here. I currently use Splitfires, and they work pretty well, but you know car guys...always have to try something different. I'm beginning to believe the single ground electrode is just as good or better, and with the copper conductor, it should be a better plug.

i never really liked the idea of split plugs..

i would much rather have one fat spark opposed to 2 smaller sparks.

thats just how i look at it

Umm, you don't get two sparks with split plugs.

You always get one spark that bridges the gap at the path of least resistance between the electrodes. All split plugs do is offer more metal, which means they may last longer.
