    gonna be changing wires today - 99 3.8 camaro - how logn does it take and what are some good tips?

    Hmm, pre tubular manifolds. Couple of hours and hit em from the top of the car and under the car. Use dielectric grease on the new wires that way they come off easier next time you chang them.

    Make sure you take the time and route them correctly. If you don't do it now you'll be replacing them again shortly due to burning them up.

      I've got a box of header wrap in the garage, haven't looked (I'm at work) but is it possible to wrap those manifolds and wiil it help much?

        dont wrap headers.. it shortens the life of the headers, and causes them to rust a lot faster..


        do one at a time. with the tubular manifolds it shouldnt take you more than half an hour.

        make sure you route them good to where the wires dont touch any part of the engine.

        just take u'r time, and make sure the boots are properly placed over the coils and plugs.. the should click
