  • Lope in my idle

I've encountered a problem with my idle loping when I first start the car. If it sits for any amount of time and I start it, the idle is really rough for about 30 seconds or so then smoothens out. I am NOT throwing any codes at any point in time and the car runs fine. I'm thinking maybe it's a problem with the O2 sensor or the MAF sensor. Any ideas?

    -Thanks

UPDATE: I called the dealership and they thought my fuel injectors need to be cleaned and my fuel filter replaced. It has 38k miles now.

38k is a bit early for O2 sensors, but you should change your fuel filter every 2 years or 30K miles or so.

The O2 sensors are not used in Open Loop Mode (when you first start your car). ;)

Well my tranny is in the shop as we speak. I think it may be the converter or the pump. But I called Andre to find out about warrenty and possible options if it was the converter, after talking with him, I felt like my money mattered, and he really treated me like someone important, you dont get that alot.
He even said if its not, that I should send it in anyway just to make sure everything is ok. I havent really had the oppurtunity to stall it much since I have been waiting on my intercooler to arrive so I could find a place to mount my tranny cooler. All that should be rectified in a week or so.
