I was wondering if anyone else has had this before. When I am going down the road and hit about 3000 RPMs, there is a strange almost grinding sound that comes from the front of the car. Sometimes it feels like the car lunges and almost always does it before it shifts into 3rd. I was wondering but hoping that it isn't my car shifting signaling a tranny prob. Any hits would be greatly appreciated.

your transmission sounds like it is slipping...

A rebuild is probably needed.. Change your transmission fluid lately?

      Even check it?
