Go to the "How To" section and you will find several write ups regarding this. They are very detailed write ups and if you follow their steps it will be an easy install. The wire colors on the 3.4 are the same as the 3.8 as far as the electric fan goes.

Just go ahead and save yourself the hassle of doing it yourself and worrying with loose wires/connections....buy the fan switch kit from SLP. Its only $75, and well worth it. The on/off switch is small enough that you could hide it in your ashtry if you want to...at least thats what I did.

The kit is a good buy, but if you have any electrical knowledge at all, you can install this yourself in under an hour and have no loose ends.

And as for your on/off switch, you can buy whatever kind you want, small or big.

But, if you do not have any type of electrical background, I would definitely purchase the kit and follow the directions very closely.

                Thanks all.

I was not sure about the colors of the wires. The 3.8s have a high and low (one fan or two) so I figured it was wired differently.

I'll be doing it myself, I already have the switch and wire. I play with wiring all the time at work, alot of the rides have multiple potentiometers that go bad regularly.

I'm gonna try out my new Cold Heat. Also have to put in my Tranny temp gage.

The Cold Heat blows. I got my hands on it one time way back and it sucked
