  • HELP!..Wiring problem??

ok..i remembered exactly when my car went dead..i got home and i was going to the track in a few..so i opened my bottle to see how much juice i had and what the psi was..it was at 1200psi cuz it was a hot day..so i wanted to purge..when i went to purge i noticed my nitrous arming switch (which i need on in order to purge) wasnt lighting up in the on position..so i figured the arming switch was bad

    the switch has 3 wires:
1: power wire..goes to the nitrous relay which connects to the accesory batter terminal
2: accesory wire..makes the switch light up when on..this wire is tied into a thick brown wire under the panel by my knees..which connects to a thing that has a whole bunch of wires coming out of it..kind of towards the left side under there
3: ground wire..just goes to a ground under the panel by my knees

..i think i may not have connected the ground wire first and connected the power and accesory wires and blown something out..because when i did this the car just shut off (it was running at the time..the question is..what could i have blown???

i spoke to the shop..they said if the car went dead that quick just from hooking up that switch wrong its almost definitely a fuseable link that blew down by the starter that would kill all the ignition and guages and all that..that would be nice cuz that would mean its no big deal at all..but id like to hear other opinions too if anyone has any
