actually, i just got back from changing my oil in the ole o'reilly's parking lot, lol. they had a place to dump oil, so i thought it would be stupid to drive back to my apts, do the change, then bring 4 quarts of oil in my car, possibly spilling it, then dumping it out at o'reilly's; so, i just did it there for simplistic's sake.
last time i had my oil changed cause i didn't think there would be anywhere i could do my own change since our apts "restricts" it, but i now know the supervisor of the apt complex, so it's cool if i do whatever (and yes, that does include the last THREE touch-up paint jobs i did in the back of the parking lot). anyway, i didn't even consider o'reilly's back then either!
SO, i drain the oil and there doesn't seem to be more than 3 quarts in there!!! i'm like wtf!?!? o well, i put a bigger size filter on and also 5 quarts in there, and it felt a lot smoother...i don't know why it felt smoother though lol. anyway, thought i'd share. the PF52 filter is the greatest!!!
