I checked the fuel pressure today, it gets up to 40 psi at idle the first time. After warming it up, then shutting it off for 15 minutes. The car would start up but the pressure drops from 40psi to nothing in about 10 seconds and the car dies. It is weird why when cold it will start right up and hold 40 psi but then when you start it after sitting for 10-15 minutes the car will start then loose all its pressure.

david8399- did your car act this why? Or was it different?
</font>[/QUOTE]Thats pretty much my problem exactly. When my car is cold it will start up fine and normally. When the car is warm, and has been sitting for 15 mins or so, it will just die when i start it. I thought it was the ignition, so i changed the plugs, wires, and coils (which needed to be done badly) and no change. My car did have a smoother idle, and get better gas mileage though. How do i go about getting a new FPR? My local parts store?

well I have a new fuel pump on its way, should fix my problem hopefully. You could probably order from a parts store or gmpartsdirect.com probably has one. I believe my problem is my pump. I don't hear it turn on when it doesn't start(removed the carpet and such to hear it better).

Jarret707- do you hear your pump turning on yet when it doesn't start? It should turn on for like 2 sec when you turn your key.

If that doesn't work it might be your IAC.
