    Hi all,
I've just had a OBD2 code reader sent over, the Innova one.
It reads the codes fine from my friends Mustang, but when I hook it up to my 98 Camaro it just reads error....seems like its not connecting to the computer for some reason??
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Checked the fuse...its fine, and the cigarette lighter and the accessory plug both work as well!
I've checked the wires to the back of the plug, nothing seems to have been disturbed,so I'm at a bit of a loss.
I did have an alarm/immobiliser fitted, but can't see any way that would be affecting it?
        Any more thoughts anyone
