• Spark Plug Wire Question

I just ordered an Accel Extreme 9000 extreme wire. But I was too excited about the price and didn't get to make sure it would fit on my car.
The description says "Universal, 8 cylinder, 90 degree boot for HEI or points style cap, spark plug wire kit."
Will it fit my V6? It says its for 8cyl but I just don't have to use 2 of the wires right?

In theory, it will work.... But also remember, communism works in theory This is a DIY kit, you need to assemble the plug wires yourself!!! Which means cutting to length, stripping the wire, crimping the ends on, and final assembly. If you have the skills, go for it.

Making your own wires is really pretty simple. I have made quite a few sets of MSD wires for V6 drivers. MSD sends a special wire stripping tool with their sets, but I don't know if Accel does. If not, I would expect a decent speed shop that does Muscle Car work to have one. This is usually not a tool that you can find at Autozone. Beyond that, it's just cutting, splicing and sliding the boots on. Pretty simple.

they should work just fine so long as both ends have 90 degree bends..
