    ok i need some help and wisdom here, a couple days ago i drove my car home and all was fine and then about an hour later i went to drive again and the ABS INOP and AIR BAG lights stayed on after the car started and they havent gone off. the funny thig is is that the car stops fine and does not lock up.....i tried....it wont....so whats the deal.........thanks to all.......bb3800

    Check your volt gauge, this sounds like a charging system problem. If that checks out, make sure all your brake lights are all working properly, that can sometimes cause the ABS INOP light to come on.

        how does charging system affect brakes and airbags.....volt gauge is fine and all other elec works great.........just doesnt make sense....

          Did you do any wiring under the hood? There is a ground wire up near the battery that will set both those lights of if removed. I was rewiring some of the factory connections a while ago and did a poor job of connecting that wire. I had both the ABS and AirBag lights go on until I fixed it. Just something else to check.
