• What to do....

Three months back I bought my car with 118K on it. In the three months I've had it, all I've done to it is change the intake, get the oil changed, and do a radiator flush.
What I want to know is what I should replace/clean/etc. in my car. I'm getting a little used to my lack of power steering (rack and pinion needs to be replaced from what people are telling me), and can't really get that fixed until I get that good ole' Christmas and birthday cash. So, for the time being, what do you guys recommend I do?

WHY DON'T YOU READ THE FORUM RULES. NO BALL BUSTING UNLESS YOU'RE GOING TO HELP THOSE NEWBIES TOO. I'M GOING TO GO LOOK AT YOUR POSTS AND IF YOU'RE JUST "BUSTING BALLS" I'M GONNA RECOMMEND YOU FOR SUSPENSION. GOT IT?

ok, since its got some miles on it, i would say sea foam it, real quick....do you know what has been changed? cause if not, i would say, check the plugs, if they are bad, change the plugs and wires to be safe. check the air filter ofcourse. change the fuel filter and just wait for some stuff to break. thats life i hope it holds up real good for you like these cars have for some :D

1.) Would you really want someone who just got a camaro to help other people like himself with bull**** information just to say he helped? When I know enough to help someone out, I will.

2.) What the hell is seafoam?

That wasn't BLLDOGG talking to you. If you look at the bottom of his post, it shows navyblue2000 edited it. The stuff in caps is navyblue2000 talking to BLLDOGG. ;)

Seafoam is used to clean out carbon buildups and stuff out of your intake/heads. You run it through the vacuum line and it cleans it all out. Do a search about it and you'll find a ton of info. New posts on it usually get locked because it's been talked about too much. ;)

I'm guessin there's no maintenance record either, huh?

A local dealership can supply you with a maintenance chart. Some of the stuff on there is BS, but a lot of it will be proper maintenance items. Check it out and see if, according to your mileage, you should have anything done such as alignments and other small nuances.

Don't forget the timing belt, differential fluid, gear oil, brake lines, plugs and wires and o2 sensors. That's all I can think of to check/service
