So my cat is clogged as hell and I just want to put a straight pipe in its place, I cant for the life of me find a shop to do it for me so ive resorted to doing it myself, i bought a 2 1/4 inch pipe, a 3-2 1/4 reducer and various clamps. now i just need to get the old cat out, i tried a hacksaw but that barely made a dent. whats the best way to get that cat outta there?

Be prepared to go get a replacement cat. After I diegrinded/hacksawed/sawsalled it out, I found that the top of the collector is flat, and my 3" ID adapter would fit right. So I had to take it down to a shop with open exhaust to get a new high flow put on.
Plus It is a MAJOR PITA to be under the car a car cuting stuff that is only 12-15 inches off the ground using any method.
Just take it in and save the headache.
