  • Serious help here!

Guys my car has had a SES light on and the only code it would throw is P1361 I looked it up and its a coil circut low voltage?? well GM told us it was the piece under the coils. I changed that myself Personally with a ratchet and some small screw-drive bits it took about a hour takin it off and then about a hour puttin it on.. well that didnt solve the problem. well we went back and told them they said it would need a new computer or something like that it was 450+ dollars and its under the hood and in the passanger dash they installed that I drove 100ft up to the local wal-mart went in got some things came out and as soon as I got outta the lot it was on again? wtf? we drove back they said its something else go back and get the codes and see what happens and get a appointment! I went got the codes, P1361 I was and still am so mad I can kill those lil short fat men over at GM.. anyway its the same codes and I dont know what to change? maybe all the coils next time its on?

that is ignition coil control circuit low voltage... i would guess that the problem is in the wiring harness, not the coils themselves. check the white ground wire going into the back of your ICM as well as the pink power wire for a good connection.

they're in the back of the ICM... that little harness that you pulled out that has a screw in the middle. it's what you have to disconnect to get the ICM out of the car.
