yeah seems like something is clogged or somethin???? sometimes it runs awesome and sometimes i can floor it and i'll just bog or sorta flood out or something
but definately not the power it sometimes has
Makes me mad and i wanna kick the gas pedal through the floor when i floor it

EDIT:but if i floor it then let out a little it takes off and flies....it's driving me nuts!

Sounds like a vacuum line fell off or you have a leak in your intake. Those damn EGR valves are usually the culprit for an intake leak. Put some water in a spray bottle and squirt it all around your intake while the car is running. If you hear the RPMs go up, you've found it.

just curious, but how does spraying water on a faulty EGR make the RPM's go up? does it clog it or something???

Yeah, you're right. I have carburetor on the brain. I think it will actually make the RPMs go down for a second because the water will fill the gap before it gets sucked in. Doesn't matter what happens to the RPMs, just look for a change. This isn't to check for a faulty EGR, it's to check for intake leaks at the gaskets. Carb cleaner will do the same thing, but that stuff is expensive.

dont use a spray bottle of water, use some carb and choke cleaner, also, yeah, my car is misfiring, and on the scanner, im getting no readings from the EGR valve, and on the manual it said to check to see if its working, my car is having the same problem, so i think that is the culprit, new EGRs are expensive, and in my area all parts stores have to order them.
