    WHAT SHOULD I BUY ? I want anything I can get my hands on! MY CAR IS STOCK!!!! please help!

    Intake and exhaust are popular starters... look around and see what you like. You could probably get a real nice exhaust done for $400 with a little luck.

      you could do intake and exhaust for $400. maybe a little over. get a dynomax muffler, catco cat, used i-pipe off a v8, and a slp cai. and you're good to go [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img]

        if you have 3.08's (check the door for the GU code) then get 3.42's!

            not exactly sure, but i've heard around no more than 4-5 from muffler/i-pipe heard as much as 10 for cai. not sure about the cat 5ish maybe? again these are just number's i've heard thrown around. never seen actual dyno's of them.

              I just got my dynomax exhaust done with tips down in Sacramento for $110 bucks. Very nicely done and a powerful rumble :D

                full catback with intake will be 15hp. then probably 5 to 10 for the intake.

                or you can get a used rear off of ta/z for about 400$. that will give you lsd/3.42's/4wheel disc's.

                    Definiately do a cold air induction/exhaust combo. You should be able to swing that for around $400. You can watch the for sale section or ebay and pick up a K&N FIPK or SLP intake used for around $100. That leaves you plenty for at least a cat back exhaust. Everyone in my hometown runs Flowmasters on their V6's(or at least that's what their sticker on the window says) and I don't like the sound at all. [img]graemlins/thumbsdown.gif[/img] for Flowmaster. My local shop put a Walker high flow muffler with two on the same side and some custom stainless steel exhaust tips for something like $150. If I could do it again I would have replaced everything behind the cat. There's definitely some power in the I-pipe and intake. Just remember, loud does not equal power. Mine has a nice mellow rumble that's not too offensive but plenty of back pressure to keep my car from bogging down. I tried straight pipes first and, trust me, they were horrible. They sounded great but I had no power at the low RPMs. My car could barely move!!

                        Ooooor you could keep your speed down on the street -- where there are a lot of people to hit & bad things could happen and instead spend money on mods for use at the track.

                        Yeah, that sounds like a good idea to me.
