I've been looking into getting the MSD DIS-4 Ignition for my 3.4 V6, but in the modifications section of this site I find out that I need the coil interface modules to hook up the system, but those pics are for the 3.8. Will the coils fit if the interface modules are installed on the 3.4? I think the throttle cable box thing is in the way. Is there another way to hook it up?

I don't think that the diagram for the 3.8L V6 will be the same. You will need to remove the throttle cable cover to install the CIU's. I have seen some people do the installation without the CIU's, but they definitely make it A LOT easier.
- Josh<br />If you have any questions or need installation pics/help, e-mail me: Viper98885@aol.com<br /><a href=\"http://Camaroz28.cardomain.com/id/viper98885\" target=\"_blank\">\'93 Camaro Hardtop</a><br /><a href=\"http://Camaroz28.cardomain.com/id/01lincolnls8\" target=\"_blank\">\'01 Lincoln LS8 Sport</a><br />\'00 Yamaha YZF-R6<br /><a href=\"http://www.ftpp.net\" target=\"_blank\">Full Throttle Performance</a>
Then that diagram will work. The only thing is the CIUs are different now. Atleast the ones i recieved.
The wires coming out of the CIU in the diagram look like this : :
The CIUs I got look like this ....
If thats your case just remember the two wires on top in the picture are the two wires in the middle on the CIU.
CIUs do make it a lot easier but it can be done with out them. Depends if you want to shell out the extra cash for them.
The throttle cable box does not fit with the CIUs on but you could always cut the lower part of it and put it back on. Or you can leave it off.
If you get the box and have trouble wiring it just email me. I can help you. Or you could always call MSD. They will tell you what to do.

No offense to whoever drew that diagram, but DO NOT USE IT.
Also, if you search and find a diagram that I think Tiago drew up, don't use that one either. Spend an extra 5 minutes and CALL MSD!!. I used Tiago's diagram and my car wouldn't start, then spent 5 minutes on the phone with MSD and got the correct wiring and my car fired right up.
also, I had to remove the little box, doesn't hurt anything for it to be missing.
