    rpo code ?

    I posted a topic in drivetrain concerning this but figured more people would see it here..

    I have M49 Transmission, Manual, 5-speed, Borg Warner. 77 mm, 3.75 1st, 0.76 5th, O/D

    BUT, I also have code MM5 Transmission, 5-speed Manual (Merchandising Option)

    What exactly does the code MM5 mean(Merchandising Option)? Does everyone with code M49 also have code MM5?

    Ok, this is really driving me nuts searching the internet to find out what this MM5 mechandising crap means. Could a few of with manuals see if you have the code MM5 as well? Or better yet, anyone know what the heck this (Merchandising Option) means?
