  • Drivers-Side Passenger window switch...

I can role the window UP with the drivers side switch, but lately I havent been able to roll the window down from there. I know the prob is in the switch cause if I reach across, I can roll the windo down easily.

The switch itself just feels loose. Sometimes if I jiggle it it will go down.

This happened to anyone? Is it fixable? Do i have to replace? How much would this switch cost(estimate).

    Thanks

The existing switch is not repairable. I bought a replacement switch (actually, they come as a pair of switches in one unit - the unit in the left door has two switches, one for the left window and one for the right window) for my son's 96 firebird for $12 at a local GM dealer. It took about 5 minutes to replace.

Yup - I called the dealer about a mile from my house, and they had it - I picked it up 5 minutes later, and installed it as soon as I got home.
