after seafoaming my car, I think I fried the O2 heater wire in my post cat sensor. Since I am planning on upgrading my exhaust soon, I was just going to go ahead and get a sim for it. The problem is that when I went to casper electronics website, the only one they have is for a cavalier or sunfire. If anyone has bought one and can give me some direction, that would be great.

http://www.zzperformance.com/products1.php?id=179 - the sim for the 3.8 grand prix will work with your car. site says 97-02 but they meant 96 (3.8 engines). you can email them, i did before i bought mine and they said it would be fine. been working without any codes for a while now.

I didn't notice you've got a 96. I'm not sure what year got the new style connector...either 96 or 97. I'm thinking 97. If so, they wouldn't work on your car.Matt

I know this may sound kinda noobish, I've been overseas for a while, but what the heii is seafoaming? Just curious, I see it here and there.
