Eeeek,
I've been overtaken by a Mercedes van.
I have a severe power loss meaning I can't drive at anything past part throttle, it makes all the induction noise but don't go faster than 70mph, also slow off lights (fuel starve ?)
Did run out fuel other day (as no warning light fitted as standard), maybe blocked fuel filter ?
tried a bit more - changed fuel filter, no difference. if you hold throttle open under hood car won't rev past 4000 (like limiter cutting in) and if more throttle engine slows down !
Also strange problem, for half hour other day battery showed no charge and went down to 10 volts but cured itself whilst driving - don't know if connected. Servicing is tricky here as not many people have plug in test gear.
