Code scann guru can you help me with strange code?
I am getting P0147... thats easy 02 bank 1 senor3 that will be fixed with a new 02 sensor.
I am also getting P1406 auz. emmissions control and P1441 manufacture control...
Does anyone have a clue about those last tow. could they be related to the bad 02 sensor.
Any help is appreciated.
Check the plastic hose running from the front passenger side of the engine, to where it runs behind the alternator to the evap solenoid. It's the hose that everyone uses to pour seafoam into. The black plastic hose gets extremely fragile after time and breaks with ease. Mine broke and threw the p1441 code.
Awesome. You just helped me with the question i was getting ready to type. Apparently the 1441 is "Evaporative Emission System Flow During Non Purge." I was acratching my head about what that meant. I know exactly which line you are talking about and that does seem like a likey culprit.
I am reading that the 14406 can be a fake code due to the egr not opening or closing fast enough for the puter. Only thing that can be done for that is reducing the sensitivity of the computer.... imposible for me.
I bought a new one a few years ago and replaced the original, then the new one cracked about 15,000 miles later. I finally just put a rubber vacuum line on it, and I've had no problems since.
i was wondering if anyone knew which o2 sensor causes the p0147 code? i was wondering if it was the one on the cat? i have a slight exhaust leak right infront of my cat. do yall think that that is what is causeing the light?
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
