ok, i have posted on how my car will every once in a while just run like crap. i mean crap. like its running out of fuel and then the more rpms i give it it doesnt like it. i will put it in neutral and rev till 1100 then 1200 then 1300 then eventually up till the limiter cuts out fuel at 4000rpm or so. then i drive it and it runs fine for a few days. I have good gas and my coils are throwing plenty of spark when it runs crappy. my wires are good and plugs would obviously not be the culpret.
about 10 minutes ago i started my car up and it ran like crap again, i thought i would try something new and turned it off only to find it ran worse. like so bad it died on me. then after about 10 minutes of intermitant cranks i let the car set for about 20 seconds and i called my friend. the car slowly came till about 700 rpm so i feathered the gas and then put my foot into it till 4000 rpm. now it runs great like always and starts perfect.
I AM STUMPEDDDDD!!!!
the only thing i can think of is the fuel pump, or ICM. the computer will only read a "random misfire" when the car runs like that if it picks up anything at all. it only happens after the engine is warmed up. ummm. i took off my intake to look for obstructions, but found non.
to liken it to something my car runs like you just took the brake master cyclinder vacuum line off. but only sometimes and eventually goes away. this was bad and i didnt think it would ever start again, i mean i cranked the heck out of that thing. i am just plain dumbfounded :(
