Is there any way to make that stupid stock thermometer gauge read something other then 210. Its a pointless gauge the way it is. May as well just have a light that comes on when its too hot as opposed to this. I was wondering if there was a way to rewire something and make that thing read accurately. I miss not having it. My 96 would fluctuate and show me what I assumed was accurate but now I have a 2000 and it just sits at 210. But its not a big deal, only something that would be nice were it possible.

GM did that in 99 because people were complaining about how the temperature fluxuated a lot and they thought something was wrong w/their car...

Yeah that was stupid of GM. They really shouldn't cater to the morons of the world... But ohh well. I'm not gonna mess with getting an after market one because it doesn't matter that much to me. I was just hoping you could somehow fix GM's ridiculous idea.
I heard somewhere that this one uses 2 wires where the older ones had 3 to make it accurate. But I have no idea if thats true or if thats just someone telling me that. Just annoys me to have a mostly useless gauge.Black 2000 Firebird w/ 3.42\'s, LSD, !maf, Whisper Lid, FTRA, K&N Filter. My Crappy Page
