  • Flucuating Temp Gauge

Recently my Temp Gauge has been acting weird. After about 15 minutes or so of driving the temp gauge will go up to about 210 then come back down, then get past 210 to the 3rd line on the temp gauge, and then come back down. It keeps doing this and also I had the heater on and the air started coming out cold for awhile then would go back to coming out hot. The temp down here has been in the 50's and usually in that weather the temp gauge would barely get to the first line on the gauge. I did put a 160 thermostat in last summer and haven't checked it to see if maybe it's stuck, could this possibly be the problem?

In July I did flush the radiator and change the thermo, it's been fine up until now though.
