My friend has a '96 Chev pickup with a hypertech programmer. He is getting a SES light. When the hypertech is set at factory defualt settings the light goes off. Would it be ok to scan the computer to find out which code its throwing with the hypertech turned on? In the instructions it says not to. Would it do any harm or can we?
