I would go with the '95 or '94 because they both look like very well kept cars. I just think the third gen will be a lot of problems.. but thats juss my two cents.

As a former 3.4 owner, definitely get a 3800 since you have a Quad 4 equipped Cavy now. You'll get in a 3.4 and be like this thing is slower than my Cavy! IMO, the 3800's are also easier to work on.

I just think its funny because the 3.4 is a normal motor for people to swap into their Cavaliers and Sunfires.

Well, I may or may not get a Camaro now....sorry guys. I still really like both of those Camaros. But I have the chance to get a 95 Mustang GT. My brother would love me forever! We'll see though....

I would definately wait and get what you really want. It took me a year to find my camaro, and I'm glad I waited. The warmer the weather gets the more camaro ads appear. I have a 94 white 3.4l/manual and yes, it lacks the performance of the 3.8 and v8. But for the most part I just drive to school and work, and the 3.4 is more than enough for that. I've found the 3.4l is also fairly dependable, but expect to replace the typical things like Grayman mentioned. When I rebuilt the car after its fire it started right up after sitting for months. If you do have problems, this message board will most likely have the answer.

if you get the 95 GT you MUST get PI heads and intake or else it will be SLOW SLOW SLOW. It's almost unimanginable how poorly made thier heads and intake mani was (esp the heads). After those you'd be able to make it plenty fast, lol.

OK yeah...I think its funny because everyones like OH MY GOSH ITS WAY SLOW! I don't really care about that. Plus if I get a Mustang I have a Ford Super Master Tech in my family that can fix any problem. I've always wanted a Mustang and my brother would never let me get a V6 because they blow BIG TIME! So I could only get a V8....and now I can actually afford one! I really like the Camaros....but a Mustang must come first for me. Like I said, I don't care about how fast it is....with how much torque both cars have in comparison to my Cavalier....I don't think that I need a lot of horsepower...at least not right now. Plus, the 95 Mustang GT is the last year they had the 5.0....my dad would be SO mad at me! (He has a 98 GT with the 4.8)

defanatly, the stock 5.0 heads aren't even worthy to be boat ancors

I wouldn't want to go from an auto 4 cyl to a 5-speed V8. The Mustang that I'm looking at is an auto.

Well now my fiance tells me that he doesn't want me to get a RWD car because I will have a really hard time driving it in the winters in Iowa. And we live in a really hilly town (the town was built on the side of a bluff). My fiances dad used to have a Firebird Formula and he said he had a hell of a time driving in the winter. So my fiance wants me to get a FWD or an AWD car. So now we are looking a 1990 Eclipse GSX. My fiance really wants me to get that because he has an 11 second 1991 Eagle Talon TSI.
