Well i got a 6th cylinder missfire.. it's making me mad. I just got it all fixed up but still no go. It's been over a month since it ran in the water and hydrolocked it. The plug's where foulded and i totally changed them and new wires but still it has a misfire.. and it's dragging still like sluggish like between 2k to 3.5k rpm's and i don't know what's wrong.. can somebody please give me some help here it's making me mad as all hell and im about to whip out the damn shotgun and put some slug's into the car seriously and say screw it and get me a mustang gt 2002..... j.k.. but can somebody help me please.

Make sure that the plug wires are on the plugs all the way....I had the same problem (#6 misfire, but I could only get an SES when I stepped on it hard, and it would finally bang and throw a code), the wire had come off of the plug, I'm pretty sure I accidentally pulled it off when I was putting that motherf***ing heat shield on it.

I had that problem once upon a time, and it was the coil pack that went junk. Check that out too. If not any of the sugested stuff then might want to have the computer ehecked out. Hope that helps... [img]graemlins/burnout.gif[/img]
Thank's guy's... i think it is the coil.. i mean i have taken the plug off over 5 time's and taken on and off the wire more than i can count.. and even changed the 6th wire with an old wire and still the same problem... and i think when i did run water in it i actually think i did fry it and it did went south... so tomorrow im going to run to the dealership and ask them for a new one... i bet it's going to be pricey due to the fact it's from the dealership lmfao.. but i need my car up and running.. my parent's want the truck back to so they can get on the 4wheeler's and go mudding.. and so do i for some reason but i prefer to get my car fixed before i do

This topic gets posted all the time. The #6 Spark Plug Wire rests on the intake manifold. Once you drive your car awhile and the engine gets hot, it begins to melt through the wire ultimately causing it to arc and misfire. Get yourself some Header Wrap, and put it on your wire(s) crossing over the intake manifold, that should take care of your problem. If you need some header wrap, let me know and I'll send you some. I have a few extra pieces laying around.
