    ok i heard that if u remove the cat and add headers it leans out the car (or i heard that at the LS1 page, so im assuming it works for us) now i also heard that adding a lower tstat would richen up the car, so in theory wouldnt they cancel each other out (no cat + 160 tstat) or am i imagining things

    The PCM should correct for the lower back pressure by itself. So, unless you have a lean condition after making the modifications, you probably don't have to worry about correcting it.
